Ultherapy

Ultherapy, Ultrasound Facelift

New at Clinique Phénicia: Minifacelift without surgery, Ultherapy... Ulthera® is a high-tech device* that provides a deep lift for the face and neckline...

What is Ultherapy?

Ultherapy facelift without surgery, using ultrasound technology. The treatment lifts drooping eyelids and provides a completely natural overall rejuvenation of the face in just one session in Marseille.
Ultherapy is a new, cutting-edge, non-surgical technique that reduces the signs of aging on the face and neck (eyebrows, facelift, décolleté, facial contours, etc.). The Ulthera® system sends focused ultrasound waves deep into the skin to stimulate collagen production and create a lifting effect. It is a non-invasive method that does not alter the surface of the skin to treat sagging of the face, neck, and décolleté. This technology is approved and authorized by the FDA.

How does it work?

Ultherapy is the only non-invasive anti-aging treatment that specifically targets the same tissues as a surgical facelift, but without damaging the skin's surface. During the session, ultrasound imaging of the treated tissue layers allows the practitioner to verify that the energy is being delivered precisely to the right areas to achieve the best possible results.

One of the signs of aging is sagging skin, as the skin loses tone and elasticity. Ultherapy can be considered as soon as the skin appears saggy and less firm. Drooping eyebrows, drooping eyelids, loss of facial contours, a less defined neck, and wrinkled décolleté are possible indications for treatment with Ultherapy. The treatment can be beneficial from the first signs of aging, which is generally from the age of 30. Ulthera® treatment can also be used in addition to a cervico-facial lift, or conversely when it is too early to consider surgical treatment.

What happens during an Ultherapy facelift session?

Depending on the area being treated, the procedure lasts between 30 and 90 minutes. The doctor will use different handpieces depending on the area being treated. You may feel a warming or tingling sensation when the ultrasound energy is emitted. Taking painkillers before the session may be recommended to make it more comfortable.
