Objectives of the intervention

Excessive hair removal, therapeutic treatment following an illness, burns, or hair loss resulting in scarring can cause significant thinning or even complete loss of eyebrow hair.

The primary role of eyebrows is to protect the eyes from potential irritants such as sweat by diverting it to the sides of the face. In addition, eyebrows reflect our emotions and are an important aesthetic feature for both men and women.

The intervention

Tiny pieces of skin called grafts are taken from the scalp during eyebrow transplantation before being reimplanted in the areas of the eyebrow requiring transplantation, following the previously defined shape.

The procedure is performed under local anesthesia and takes approximately 2 hours.

Postoperative care

Post-operative effects are minimal. Only slight swelling, which subsides within 5 to 7 days after the procedure, may occur following an eyebrow transplant.

As with hair transplants, the graft will temporarily fall out after 15 days before growing back after 3 to 4 months.

The final result will be visible six months after surgery.
