In Practice:
A thread lift procedure lasts between 30 minutes and one hour. The number of threads used depends on the number of areas to be treated and can vary from 1 to 4 threads per side. The patient is comfortably positioned on the examination table in the surgeon's office. The areas where the needle enters and exits the skin are anesthetized.
The threads are then inserted into the hypodermis to the exit point determined by the surgeon. The skin is then "pulled" over the tension thread to "hook" onto the mini-cones.
The lifting effect is immediate, although the final result will only be visible a few days after the session.
